New Chairs!

If you're on Facebook with me, you might remember the conversation (via email) my husband and I had a few weeks ago:

Me: Hey hon, what do you think of these chairs for the family room? They're a great deal, and no shipping. Size is perfect.
Paul: Those chairs have no arms.
Me: Ok, guess we'll nix them and I'll keep looking.
Paul: If you love them, that's fine. I'm slammed here at work. Whatever you want to do, go for it.

Love that man.

So I got my chairs, and yes, while armless, they are surprisingly comfortable, especially when you pull up one of the ottomans to rest your feet;)

And they were an amazing price - I ordered them from Target.com for $110 a chair, and no shipping!
They still need a table in between them, with a lamp, etc. I'm on the hunt now for the perfect lamp, and I'm pretty sure I have the perfect table right here in our house to use (you know I love shopping my home first!). Course, it needs a coat of paint, and I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do to it, but hopefully in the next week or so I'll have it all set!
I thought these would be great for a few reasons.
1. It's a small wall, so these two petite chairs are just perfect.
2. The price was right.
3. They're neutral. Doesn't look too summery or too wintery - they'll look great no matter what the season. And I can throw pillows and throw blankets on them depending on whatever color's rockin' my boat at the moment. Always important for this crazy lady.
4. I love chevron. I know some are getting tired of it, but I still think it's awesome. That being said...
5. If, in a few years I get tired of this print, they look incredibly easy to re-upholster. The chair comes apart in two pieces, so a little stapling here and there, and I'll have a brand new chair.
So...what do you think!? Once I get the table and lamp set up, I'll show them off in the grand scheme of the room, so you can see them in all their glory:) I'm pretty happy with my choice...even if they don't have arms;)

They look great. I am happy that they will be so easy to recover, should you want something 'new'. I'm a bit more frugal than you. I think even $110.00 is a bit pricey. ;) I am happy that you love them!

I love your chairs! They are a really good deal. I have stairs in my living room, like yours, and I've been wondering whether to get a loveseat or two chairs. I love the way two chairs look, and getting two chairs (instead of a loveseat), would be so much cheaper!
